Women in Medicine

Women in Academic Medicine (WAM)

This grass-roots organization emerged in the later 1990s as a forum for discussion of issues women face at the College of Medicine, and an opportunity to meet other women on the faculty. The group meets for lunch and a presentation about four times a year. Notice of upcoming WAM meetings is sent through the AHSC listserv to all women faculty.
